We are happy to announce the unveiling A Knight’s Quest at Gamescom, as well as having a full playable demo at EGX in the following month!

Although things have been quiet for a while, we're finally bringing the game to light, with a redone website with all new screenshots and information. Expect much more content to be slowly revealed over the next coming months though screenshots, trailers, and more!

A Knights quest is set to launch in 2018 on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and on PC.

After a long time of hard work, we've officially gotten a publisher to help fund the game. This means Kickstarter is no longer needed and we can focus 100% of our time on developing the game!

Of course, no Kickstarter means no need for forums, as those were created just to communicate with backers.

While the website still primarily shows the old Unity content and has some oddities (forums used for update posts), we're hoping to update it as we progress with new screens and such.

There's a long way to go, but things are looking great so far!

It's been quite some time since we announced A Knight's Quest: Spirit Shield, and that's because we've been hard at work on a huge update!

Since then, we've made the move from the Unity engine, to Unreal 4. This meant recreating everything from scratch, but also came with immense graphical and performance improvements.

The Prototype
The old Prototype version in Unity allowed us to test out all the gameplay elements, environments, and features. To get an idea of all the game's features, you can check out the prototype trailer here:

The Main Game
Thanks to the prototype, we've been able to recreate the game in Unreal in just a few months. It's still a work in progress, but everything is much more refined. Check out a full gameplay clip of an entire area in the game:

Now that we've completed the graphics overhaul, we're finally freed up to spend more time on things like the website and Knight's Quest forums. The Kickstarter is all ready to go, and should be available within a few weeks!

We're super excited to finally be showing off the game! We've worked incredibly hard to get the new version ready, and hope to get your support on the upcoming Kickstarter release!

Welcome to the official website of 'A Knight's Quest: Spirit Shield!'

What is it?
A Knight's Quest: Spirit Shield is a humorous action adventure game where a bold yet clumsy teen accidentally releases an ancient evil upon his kingdom. With the power of might, magic, and a bit of elbow grease, he must release his kingdom from the grasps of the evil spirit, and return him back to where he came.

How does it play?
Spirit Shield will feature multiple weapons, each with their own combos and abilities to aid in plowing through your enemies and solving puzzles. It has a similar adventure feel to games like the Zelda and Metroid series, however with a stronger emphasis on combat, humor, and puzzles.

Cool, where can I find out more?
This website of full of pictures and information about the game!

Where can I get my hands on this?
Hold your horses! The game actually isn't finished yet! Everything you see here is in its pre-alpha stages. In October we will be releasing a Full Trailer and a Kickstarter campaign to help fund this project. We hope you join us during the Kickstarter and become a part of this journey. <3

When completed, the game will be released on Steam, with possible console releases down the line.

What can I do in the meantime?
While waiting for the Full Trailer and Kickstarter, you can visit our Forums to chat with other people and speak to the Developers about the game or any questions you may have. You can also sign up to have an email sent to you when the Full Trailer and Kickstarter go live (we won't send any other emails).

Otherwise hang out, browse the site, chat on the forums, and tell your friends.
We hope you'll be excited for this game as we are, and we look forward to revealing more info on the game as we slowly approach the Full Trailer and Kickstarter release in October!

Edit: The Kickstarter will not be released in October, we're hard at work on something huge! More details in a few months.
